Sgt. Rusty Romine of the University of Alabama Police Department reported in court documents obtained by the Press-Register that he saw Upshaw chase down Grzyb and he then "grabbed (Kendall) Grzyb by the back of the neck and hair with his right hand and pushed her downward in what appeared to be an attempt to push her to the ground." Romine's account goes on to say that Grzyb freed herself and "attempted to strike Upshaw about his face, however she was unable to make contact. Upshaw then grasped Grzyb's right arm by the forearm, released and then pushed Grzyb away." At that time, Romine said he separated the two and Upshaw told him that Grzyb slapped him and walked away after seeing him talking to another female. The documents say Grzyb told Romine that "Upshaw followed her, grabbed her by the back of the neck and pushed her." Not exactly the same story as your post. Where's your link?
I got mine from ESPN College Football Report, and I noticed this was also on yours...
"After speaking with his daughter upon her release, Kendall's father Dave Grzyb told the Press-Register that it was a "simple lovers' quarrel altercation," and that "I honestly think it was probably initiated by my daughter. I don't think he laid a hand on her. He just tried to restraint her to keep from getting hit again."

Dave Grzyb said that neither his daughter nor Upshaw are pressing charges in the matter.

...and there's absolutely no mention of any choking anywhere in either article.

Yeah, show me where... a victim said Pettway touched them

So what you're saying is that beating someone to the point of unconsciousness and amnesia has its advantages?

Never leave a witness. Or at least a witness with a functional memory.

Good to know.

Both of the other guys admitted to actually assaulting the victim but not Pettway, so.....

what incredibly stupid logic.

Out of high school he had never choked anyone, so we took him. When he did, he was kicked out.
What are you struggling with in this scenario?

Bottom line is Pettway was charged with two felonies and had a 60k bond. Saban will obviously take anyone in order to win

That's correct...too bad that Auburn can't say the same thing.

Why am I not particularly shocked that this thread has gone for eight pages now?

So you just said that after getting to Athens he became a thug....and Auburn took him after the world realized it! ...you're one dumb bastard!

Yup...just like Bama took Ty flournoy smith

Not sure how that makes me a dumb bastard...we have rehabbed many, it's what we do.

Good kids go to Athens...get turned into thugs and we fix them.

...so you'll agree that Alabama is "rehabbing" DJ Pettway?

Seems y'all saw our success with rehabbing and are giving it a try. Imitation is the best form of flattery.

This further supports my hypothesis that Auburn is in all actuality, the University of West Georgia.
