if he plays, he will not be 100%. chances are he would be around 70% which is still better than a lot of QBs in college right now. It would be a shame if he missed, but that could still happen.

What is killing me with all the boards is that everyone out there (especially LSU fans) are saying things like Saban is ruining his career and forcing him to play so he can win. Let me ask this question. If it were Burrow, would the sentiment be any different? Most likely it would be the same defense from LSU fans as what bama fans are having to do now.

Truth is that this is a weird year for both programs. Historically, they have both had great defenses and so-so offenses. The script this year is flipped. will be almost a bazaro game where everything is opposite. No matter who plays or wins, i can't wait for the game. just wish it was at night.......

good luck to all.....

i see Geno Toretta from the early 90s. just a greaseball. the kind of guy you would need a shower after shaking his hand.

Like the ones AJ McCarron and some of the others had that were "provided" to them by that store in Mobile?

i know for a fact AJ's mom was married to a pretty well off dude (pharma rep) when he was at bama and the car he drove was easily affordable to his family.

is it beyond the realm of possibility that since the kid is getting a full ride that his parents can afford a lease or buy a crappy charger at say $200/month for 72months. i mean they don't have to pay for any food or housing or school or books. the extra money they save by not paying for that stuff should be able to afford a car for there kid. either way, if bama bought it, they wont get caught and dont for one second think that every school in the NCAA has given benefits to their football players.

16-0, extra win awarded for awesomeness

the difference is that Ole Miss will never do anything with this win. do you really think they will run the table and win a title? past history as early as last year says NO...enjoy the win Bears, you earned it, but don't for one second think that will result in anything greater than what it is.
bama is just hiding their new offense like back when they installed the wishbone. I introduce A-11. It will make malzahn's offense look like the T backfield.. read up, you will hear a ton about it.

A-11 Offense

no doubt, will be lucky to get those 6 wins and play in any bowl at all.

Don't know about the Raising Cane's outside of La. but the ones in BR and Metairie/NOLA are very good.
Tender breast fingers, very good crinkle cuts and slaw, and great Texas-style toast.
Wish they had baked beans and/or a dessert.
But their chicken fingers are delicious.
Don't know what you're talking about...

there is a cane's in mobile and it isn't good at all. that is why i said the walmart deli gives it a run for the money.
Crowes in TROY is awesome as well.
wow, i guess in MS there arent many choices for good food. i guess if cane's and mccalisters is all you got, its that or nothing.

But then again, i would assume that if the grove is nearby, it would have to be the absolute best thing in the world by proximity.
cane's is aweful. Foosacklys and Guthries have them beat easily. Heck, even the walmart deli gives cane's a run for their money.
say what you want about DJ, but i have seen first hand what a class act and great person this guy is. My son goes to the same school as his sister in Mobile. When he is in town he always makes a point to stop by the school to visit his sister and spend time with all the kids. He lets the kids climb all over him and he plays well with them all. He gives more than his share of time and signs EVERY SINGLE autograph and takes EVERY SINGLE picture that is asked of him by the students. This includes when he comes to sports events his sister participates in. He doesn't have to do any of this, but he even goes further to speak to the students about the importance of staying in school and doing your best at everything you do. To top it off, he never lets media show up with him to document any of it. He wants nothing in return.

Whether he played at Bama, Auburn, LSU or Cal Poly Technic, he is a HELL of a person and is a beast of a man....He is class personified.

Nick Saban still hasn't beat an Auburn team with 9+ wins... ?

And auburn hasn't fielded back to back 10 win seasons since the early 80s. Kind of makes it hard for bama to beat a 9+ win auburn team when they never get 9 wins on a consistent basis. Just saying.....
my son's golf coach is friends with Coker's dad and told me at the beginning of the season that Sims was lights out the starter and would have a hard time losing spot to Coker. Said everyone on football team was extremely impressed with the incredible progress Sims made since the spring.

Give it to Sims, he felt the heat and worked his tail off and won the job and did an amazing job. Whats more impressive is the way he did it, HUMBLE!

i will include myself in those that were wrong at the beginning. i am glad i was wrong.

Bam is past tense for Boom, at least I think.....this core curriculum crap is getting confusing.
