He was a top 10 tackle according to Rivals coming out of high school in 2013.
He will start a game for us at RT before the season is over... No doubt about it.. Having him in game shape the last 8 or so games of the season will be huge.

He definitely won't play this weekend, but he'll play before Bama. Throwing him in his first live game against Bama would be a bade decision, IMO.

We should be beating Memphis bad enough to where our 3rd strings will be playing so he for sure should be playing in 1 of the next 3 games (possibly 2 of the 3)

My bad, I meant to say play early and often until at least Bama. He could and should see mop up time in next few weeks, if he has been half way keeping in shape and learning the playbook.

Chase said he's in better shape than he expected. He expects him to be in the rotation before the year's end.

He will play A LOT against ULL and Memphis.. Gotta get him in game shape... Kid is a super athlete... East High won the 5A basketball state title his senior year and he logged decent minutes for them.
He was named a top 5 Olineman at The Opening the summer after his junior year... Rivals rated him the 10th best Olineman in the country in 2013 and a top 150 prospect overall.. 2013 was a really deep year for OTs too...Most years he would be a top 100 prospect... Scout had him as the 20th best tackle that year.. But they also rated Carl Lawson the 75th overall prospect in the class of 2013 sooooo.....
This really lessens the blow of Golson transferring... Cant overstate how huge it is.. Plus, it should light a fire under Cooper's arse.. I personally think he takes a start or two away from Fahn and Conyers at RT before the end of the season.
