Idk that he leaves after a successful year. His history works against me but at some point he's got to prove to future employers that he can commit to one place for more than 1-2 years. It's a red flag for those making hiring managers when someone is job hoppy like that. Gotta prove some longevity, even if it's just a few years.

He may have wanted back in the sec but that wasnt the only reasoning behind it. He has a kid that this move put him closer to iirc.

The last time we had a situation kinda similar we wound up with Ray Goof. Dooley didn't want a huge shakeup on his staff when he retired in '88. Goof had been with them forever, former UGA QB ('76 SEC Champ) so he was the pick. Situation with Bobo sounds eerily similar. I surely hope this is not the case and that UGA will objectively interview and hire the best coach to replace St. Mark.
