I don't like how Pinkel always says hes scared to death of the other team coming back during certain halftime interviews, it shows a weakness that you don't want in your coach and explains why we always come up short.

Tbtb, you have got to be the most negative person on the internet.

After rewatching the game I came away thinking Mauk's uneven performance can be easily fixed. He just needs to stay in the pocket and step up more instead of rolling out at the first sign of pressure.

Hard to think his great TD to interception ratio is a fluke at this point. Give SDST some credit. One of the best div2 teams.

1. He doesn't say it every game.

2. When he does say it, it's respect for the other team and their capabilities.

3. Especially with young teams that get overconfident and let up (like we saw yesterday) he is sending a message.

4. "We always come up short." Are you fricking kidding me? Check the record. Pinkel has won more games than any Tiger coach in history and is second only to Dan Devine in winning percentage.

Devine last coached Mizzou in 1970, just to give you context.

have you seen our defense? he has a good reason to be concerned, making the idea that we are going to run away with the game even more mind boggling.

For those who think Ray is NFL bound at the end of the season you might want to note how many of SDSU's long runs started by going around his end. He still has serious issues with containment, just like last year.

The "it was a broken play" excuse on that first play TD run is one of the most horrendous excuses ever, and it's not like the ball skipped off a defenders helmet and into the WR's hands. That excuse is like saying "they didn't do what we expected, so we weren't ready", you would hope the coaching staff doesn't buy those kind of ridiculous excuses.
