Across the FBS, teams turn the ball over three or more times in a game only 20% of the time. 4+ and it drops to under 10%. There isn't a stat for 6+, but I'm confident in saying it's probably less than 1%.
So no, I do not think it is objective to assume that kind of turnover margin simply because of results against one team in recent years. I tend to try and factor in an even turnover margin when predicting a game, which is why I believe USC wins. A&M will need to win the TO margin to have a chance to pull it out.

Because you own Clemson in every way a team can own another, including psychologically. It also didn't hurt last year that Connor Shaw is exceptionally good at protecting the ball. Mike Davis has a bit of a fumbling issue as far as star backs go (five last year I believe) and Thompson hasn't seen enough action to say either way how good he is at consistently protecting the ball.

Yes and I don't think its that big a deal. Harris and Williams were gonna start and I thought that Lammons, Green and McWilliams were all ahead of Smith.

It's good here in my opinion. Hate to hear news like this for anyone. Guys put in a lot of work and then in a NY minute it's start over time. Hope he heals up.

I'll admit I am a little more nervous now. After watching how much better Shaw is than JFF last night, it made me realize we probably lost more at QB than A@M did.
