He's a couple inches taller than Manziel, doesn't run anything like him, and is much heavier

Gotcha. Was comparing his speed to what I saw in high school, obviously the speed gap narrows from high school to college

The little inside camp special on SECN made it seem like Allen wasn't making his throws. QB coach was pretty rough on him.

When we are losing to Carolina by 40 at the start of the 4th, Kyle will get to play as well.

Allen to redshirt?

No. That would make Connor McQueen our backup. Kyle will get every snap he can, unless he transfers that is.

It truly boggles my mind how little SEC fans know outside their own teams. I really expected more before we joined. Kind of disappointing how little football knowledge most fans in this conference have

I edited immediately several minutes before you even posted this reply. Why are you such a hot head?

Only thing wrong was that he is soph not fresh, I misread 247 site.

According to 247 Ole miss is the only other SEC school that offered him besides you.

Is that not true? Is 247 wrong?

How many SEC schools offered Manziel? He rewrote the entire SEC offensive record book.

Iunno he was a top 25 QB by most services I'm pretty sure, but QB recruits, unless they go to camps, don't really get evaluated that much out of state. His dad played 14 seasons in the majors and won over 100 games, so I'm assuming he played baseball in the summers instead of going to camps to get offers.

I love how if SEC schools didn't offer him he's garbage a former safety/option QB is the first team preseason QB for crissakes. The SEC isn't exactly the gold standard for QB play right now

Kyle Allen on the other hand, went to every camp there was from 2012 until he graduated.

I agree. My OP was mainly based on the fact he was a true freshman but once I got past that I deleted the whole post.

We are only still talking about it because hot head quoted it.

Yall don't have to circle the wagons. I deleted the damn thing before anyone even responded. Calm down. Yall are being very bitch like.

I dont think i've seen a single a&m fan say Allen was definitely starting, much less hyping him up.

You may not have, but I have. It was like Hill wasn't even in the discussion.

Great choice.
Couldn't have gone wrong with either.
Hill just has a tad more experience at this juncture.
