There has not yet been a player under Grant that improved from one year to the next. If so, please name him.

You mentioned one that improved dramatically in your first post...

No, you aren't. I hate how pessimists always use this as a defense. A realist would look at the talent on the roster and see that at the very worst the team should have a better year. You're upset about us retaining Grant (which is understandable), and you're allowing that to justify your pessimistic expectations for next season.

How can you the Swede didn't improve when he went from not even being able to catch the ball to making layups

I don't really get the optimism either. Pretty sure everyone in this thread (along with anyone who's watched Bama bball the last few years) thinks CAG is a bad coach. Even if the newcomers turn out to be good, I doubt they'll be good enough to overcome poor coaching. Hope I'm wrong though.

I'm not a pessimist. Pessimists would assume we will lose every game, or at least a large share of them. I'm a realist in thinking Bama will do no better than about .500 in league play and a little better than that OOC. What does that give us? Another missed invite to the NCAA.
Call it what you want, but do tell me what you expect, not hope, from Grant's team this season.
