When you beat Alabama, you received your well-earned respect.
As for "snuck up on". If a top 10 team, like Auburn at the end of the year when they played UGA, Bama, Missouri, and FSU, sneaks up on you then you have a dumb HC. You can claim Auburn snuck up on a few teams early but after Ole Miss and A&M, no one can use that excuse. Its just another lame excuse for people to use to belittle Auburn winning last year.

How is it lost on every AU fan that people say this in reference to going from 3-9 to 12-2? Obviously people realized AU was a quality team by November.

I don't remember ANYBODY outside the state of Missouri thinking Mizzou would win.
Who cares if anyone thinks you "snuck up" on teams? My favorite game in history is the 92 Sugar Bowl where we "snuck up on" Miami.
