Not really. If UF is the only program in their state, I'd agree that the East has a chance. But Y'all have to compete with FSU and everyone else cherry picking talent.

LSU doesn't have to worry about that because they have the state on lock-down (except for Speedy). Alabama and Auburn recruit themselves at this point.

And Texas A&M, well,

And A&M has to compete with UT and everyone else cherry picking talent in Texas, right?

There's more than enough talent in Florida to sustain multiple programs, just like there is in Texas.

You can't compare Louisiana and Florida. Florida is four times the size of Louisiana. Don't throw some "per capita Louisiana produces the best talent" bullshite at me either because it'll be falling on deaf ears.

Has no grasp of how many good football players are in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Even Tennessee produces players now in Nashville.

You do realize that of the teams you just listed only Alabama is consistently ahead or even tied with Florida in recruiting right?

That if FSU competes with Florida for recruits being the second or third (behind Baylor- because lets be real Sumlin is at best a poor mans Briles) choice for most Texas recruits isn't exactly killing it?
