I've got a friend whose son was offered this week and was curious how some of you would react or handle this.
Not my problem and would totally give a politically correct response if he was rude enough to bother me for an opinion instead of his family, Priest or, Rabbi.

You obviously didn't see his edit. He is white, tuition isn't an issue. Even if it was I'd take a second on my house not to have a granddaughter names Sheniqua.
Whats your point? Im black parents had money to pay all my tuition. I earned my own way and I didnt stop to ask how many whites go to a certain university. Clearly race is a big issue with you.

I had a scholarship to Florida A&M to play baseball, but I got into a wreck and went to UGA instead. If my son wanted to go I wouldn't care...as long as he didn't come home acting like something he's not.

I think a lot of it depends on what the son wants to major in besides sports. If the college offers a competitive advantage of that, then go for it.
For instance, Florida A&M has a fantastic Pharmacy school.

I know a white guy who went to an all black college. He ended up being president of his class and was really well liked. It's also not a bad thing to have on your resume. Employers love that kind of stuff. Really depends on the kid, though.

I've learned over the last year that uga fans (at least on this board) are challenged in many ways, especially in the iq department. Being a uga fan I was disappointed until I realized these boards are dominated by a few guys who post the vast majority of content...what can you expect from a human being that accumulates thousands and thousands of posts on a forum?
Not much.
Not much.

As long as it's not Savannah State. A recent study came out saying that a college degree from there was worth less than not going to college at all.
