I live in Houston and work with a ton of Aggies, I love them all. Easily the best fan base we deal with in the SECW IMHO

The Aggies I work with are honest, realistic and excited about the new possibilities in the SEC. They don't talk about the sips at all, like it is all in the past.

Converting the program from the B12 to the SEC takes some time but fortunately for them (and for LSU) the great southern migration is pouring population and money into Texas. The SEC having a team in this market is going to be huge for all of us, but especially Aggie and LSU. I believe that is going to be the best way to turn the tables on the SEC office bias towards the Gumps.

Also I anchored this thread because it has run its course. It was fun while it lasted

Not obsessed, there isn't much to talk about and this seemed like a pretty big story

The media is doing their best to hype Aggie and most of us feel like you guys haven't done shite to deserve it. So you get some backlash. if you beat LSU every once in a while you might even get a regional rival that respects you, unlike your historical brethren. We are hungry for a real rival and the best way to stick it to the Sips after a divorce is to replace them with a hotter partner.

However so far in this marriage Aggie is the wife and LSU is the man. So STTDB.

I work with, as you might expect in an engineering job in MS, a lot of LSU people. All good people. My favorite played football for you degenerates in the '80s. My lasting impression of him is sneaking up behind me while I was concentrating on the latest code to defeat the frickin' Commies, and detonating a cap under my chair with the help of his recruit, my 4-yr old son who I had in tow that day. I can't really jump, but I hit the ceiling tiles that day. My son thought it was hilarious. Which I suppose it was. He moved away before I could get even with him.
