if yall want to play teams more often, just schedule them in non conference games. see how this works?

The problem with the 6-1-1 model, that if a permanent opponent is in a historical spiral (like UT is), the other permanent opponent has one easier conference game each year than the other teams in the division, thus allowing that team more easily to win the division and make the SECCG appearance. If the SEC were to move to a 6-0-2, that advantage is minimalized over the long haul. With non-conference scheduling of UGA/Barn or UT/Bama the rivalry is preserved.

And if the SEC had been really concerned about preserving tradition, A&M & Mizzou would have never been added.

good thing, stuff like that is cyclical and we dont schedule on a year by year basis
