Trying to type it out and its so damn complicated its hard to explain. Basically the deal is that we both have warm fuzzies toward each other and ever since then (when we srot of made that point clear) I get the feeling that she just doesnt want to talk to hang out and is just short in her text replies. I decided to just not text or call her first for a few days and never even heard from her and I sparked up conversation with her last night and now she is all talkative and not giving me the cold shoulder.

Numerous times and it was that she had made plans with her friends or was going to her parents for the weekend.

Hmmm. I'd ask her out again. If she gives you the same BS then move on. If she wants to hang with you then she'll make the effort to do so. Especially this early on.

Give her her space if it seems that's what she wants. If she really is into you, she'll make the effort to hang out. Only thing you can do without getting creepy is make yourself available.

I've invited her to come with me and my friends saturday for my birthday to a Barons game but she has strep throat. And I know its not just an excuse because I asked her how he week was going and she said she had strep and then I told her about this weekend and I'd like her to come if she was feeling better.

Thats sort of what I was hoping to achieve by not texting her for a few days. The week leading up to me going to her lake house it seemed like we were talking nonstop and after that its like she didn't even want to talk to me.

You can usually be "over" strep in about 10 days or so. So if she doesn't come this weekend I'd give her another shot next weekend. Then see what her reaction is. It's possible the disinterest could be because she was feeling like shite from being sick.

Yeah strep can be a bitch. Also, we knew each other in high school but this is the first time we've talked since then. If that changes anything.

What provoked you guys talking now? Did you have any shitty experiences in HS when you knew each other that might make her hesitant to get with you?

She has a 10 month on kid and that dad is a tPOS and she hates him and is done with him. She even told me that asked me if it bothered me that he sort of has to still be around to see his kid. I said absolutely not, I get that.
But as of right now she told me she is not seeing anybody and I told her I am the same.
