I read this back when it came out. My favorite part is below

quote:

It's funny to imagine Manziel, dog-arse hungover, BMW parked in front of a stadium fire hydrant, slipping the edge around an outside linebacker and zipping a pass 45 yards for a touchdown while his try-hard backup who hasn't missed curfew since the eighth grade sits nailed to the bench. How pissed is Bill Belichick going to be when the defense he sacrificed two dozen goats and a bus full of kindergarteners to conjure out of Muspelheim gets torn up by Manziel and his smug a-hole face?

The Deadspin comments are always a gold mine. I read it daily, you have to take everything with a grain of salt and understand it's not supposed to be great journalism

Great article. Weird thing is he wrote pretty much exactly what I think, only much better than I could say it. I'm ready to embrace the douchebaggery.

I've come around. I used to think he was an a-hole, but I really just think he's Brett Favre in a flat bill.

I think since it's because I've gotten older, and removed from some pop-media working so much, but Beiber doesn't move the needle for me. Neither does Kardashian, Paris Hilton(is that even still a thing?), Kanye, or any other "celebrity". Nothing they say mean anything to me. I don't know why people hate Bieber, and even though he's probably a douche, I don't know why I will care in the future.

That's an excellent question for the Cleveland Browns.
