Expansion Teams vs. Blueblood SEC

Serious question: Which expansion team do you feel has the best chance to win the SEC Championship for the 1st time?
A&M looked like they had a legit shot last year but hiccups against Auburn and Alabama derailed them. Without JFF they look to take a backseat for a year. That offense should still be very good.
USC has a legit shot this year with a down FL team (that I think will rebound to a respectable finish). Mizzou looks to be depleted offensively so this could be Spurrier's year.
Arkansas I expect to rebound this year and put together a decent season. Around 6-6 or 7-5. Those big guys up front will keep them in games and year 3 of Bielema-ball could have them competing for the West.
Mizzou impressed everyone last year. Most people expected them to trip up against A&M to allow USC in. They didn't and made it to the dance but ran into the Auburn running game buzzsaw.
So going forward, which expansion team do you think will be the first to hoist the trophy in Atlanta?

A&M in 4-5 years. Can't argue with the Texas recruiting setup they have

Alabama 49

If TAMU "takes a backseat" this year (not sure what that means), it won't be because of our Johnny-less offense (which you may be saying after your first comment?).

Spurrier can't have many more years in him. USC has the best chance in my opinion but it has to happen in the next few years. Tennessee can't stay down much longer.

By "hiccup" I was implying a close loss. It's an L in the West which is unforgiving. Not taking anything away from A&M. Personally I think Evans is a bigger loss than JFF, but that's just me.

Gotcha.
Evans is a loss, for sure.
Again, our offense will be sick.
Maybe better than last year, as a complete unit.
But the defense tho ....

A&M is doing great. Their problem is getting to ATL through AU, UA and LSU, not to mention others that are doing well. jmo

I feel ya there. Losing Lawson is going to be difficult for us too.

One more decade and they should be back to form.

Texas A&M. They have the recruits to compete with Bama, LSU, Auburn, and Arkansas.

Spurrier might have a Dorian Gray thing going.

A&M definitely has the recruiting base. If the Longhorns struggle with Strong as HC then even more recruits could jump ship to play for Sumlin in the SEC.

I do think A&M will be good going forward, but people have way over reacted to their first two sec seasons. They had an amazing QB and went 10-6 in the conference. They will go 4-4 in the sec this year. 10 conference losses in 3 years would
get a coach fired plenty of places.

Their offense put up points against everybody (save LSU) but it's their defense which lost them just about every game. If he can get that fixed in the next couple of years then the West might get even more interesting. If not it might be Sumlin on the hotseat in 2 years.

No doubt, they do have a bright future. I just think they are the most overblown team to lose 6 conference games over a two year stretch in history. I really have nothing at all against A&M. In fact I root for them in most sec games, but if they do better than 4-4 in the conference this fall I'll be shocked.
With their good recruiting I do think they'll be strong in 2015
