Petrino was able to coach the bad recruits up, yet Bert cant. So which is it?
Petrino made un-remarkable talent look remarkable with his system. But the proof is in the pudding.
Please go look at the number of NFL draft picks Arkansas has had for the past 2 years. Acknowledge that the turmoil, with no coach in place, likely impacted recruiting for 2 years.
Acknowledge those 2 very simple facts or shut the frick up. I'm so tired of this asinine, tired theory of you geniuses.

So when you were good in 2010 it was because of Malzahn, but when you sucked in 2011 that was because of Chizik.
So much spin.
I attribute the success in 2010 to both coaches, but 2011 was a direct result of Chizik. I thought this was common knowledge
as you say

So you do not want to discuss Gus failing as a coach with a 4* QB who knew his system.
Smart.
Smart.

Would you like to check out Auburn for the past two years as well

You acknowledged my point in your first one and your second is a deflection of the topic that coaching can be an equalizer

You might look in the mirror as well with this comment.

Why would I discuss a deflection on yalls part. Its been quite known that Chizik hindered any part of malzahn in 11' But again we are talking about head coaches here. Continue to deflect onto Malzahn, the coach that yall are not obsessed with yet continue to talk about

simple questions, who was the head coach? Who is Arky's HC?
Chizik provided the blueprint for success. I attribute that to him. Did malzahn help, yes. Again Head coach here, not assistants. nice deflection yet again

I know it hurts to see your own hypocrisy

I'm not talking about 2011.
I'm talking about Gus recruiting and taking a highly rated QB who ran his system in HS and after Gus' tutelage found himself lucky to land at a DII school.
So Gus doesn't know what to do with talent, he has to inherit or get talent developed by others to play the position.

Still trying to play this card? Do you have any original material when it comes to Gus? Or do you just spew the same shite every off-season?

What system does Bobby Petrino run? What's his offensive style? How many of his recruits are still on campus, or were on campus when Bert arrived?

What were Auburn's recruiting rankings across that time frame? Did their system change much over this time?
Auburn recruiting classes
2013 - 11th (247)
2012 - 13th (247)
2011 - 5th (247)
2010 - 4th (rivals)
2009 - 19th (rivals)
Avg - 10th ranked class in the country
Arkansas
2013 - 24th (247)
2012 - 24th (247)
2011 - 22nd (247)
2010 - 49th (rivals)
2009 - 16th (rivals)
Avg - 27th ranked class in the country
Of course, this doesn't show the absolutely abysmal player retention that Petrino left, either. But even on the surface it's clear that Arkansas started off with a much worse deck of cards than Auburn in 2013.
Bert was directly responsible for quite a few things that we failed at. He ran some stupid arse trick plays, for instance. But you are LITERALLY fricking retarded if you think he should have come in to our situation and had success. I think asking for 1 or 2 more wins might not have been unreasonable, but those wins wouldn't have changed any simpleton's opinion of Bert.
Herp derp. He only won 4 or 5 games. He sucks. You tell me different and I'll know you haven't been on the rant for a long time or you're lying.
But let's just call a spade a spade. Let's be reasonable. Can you try that? Tell me how much MORE success Bert should have had. Tell me which wins he should have that he didn't, and you tell me why. Why should we have beaten which teams. Tell me which teams we should have beaten that had less talent than we did.
I'm willing to admit Bert didnt' do a great job coaching last year. But that's not the fricking point. Managed expectations.
Avery Johnson is a sure fire HOF basketball coach, right? That's the narrative that people attribute to him, right? No? What changed? Ohhhh - you mean once he stopped coaching a stacked roster with an all-time great he stopped winning? It's almost like talent is the #1 component of fielding a successful team in, like, any sport ever.

Yeah. Arkansas fans are the ones spewing the same shite.

But as my question was of his personal posting and how it has the same substance from last off-season, it had nothing to do with "Arkansas fans." So why don't you move along and let him answer for himself.
KThx.

Answer what?
Gus has destroyed the potential of every QB he has ever recruited straight out of HS and coached, no disputing that.
