I assume SEC Network would be on the sports tier

Yes. That's what the Comcast rep that I talked to this morning told me. She told me there would be no additional charge with them picking it up. I will say, I have been lied to, over the phone, from Comcast reps before. If I was a Comcast customer, I would call and make sure the information I received is correct. I plan on double checking, in a week or so, myself.

Looks like the SECN will startup with more suscribers than the Big10 network has after being available since 2007...

Big10 Network is currently in 52 million homes. The Comcast deal puts the SECN in 46 million homes. If TW & DTV sign on the SECN will be in approx 76 million homes across America...

two separate news agencies have reported it is part of the standard package and not the sports tier. Sadly they disagree on what tier it will be on.

One said Digital Basic (which isn't even a tier) and the other said Digital Premier. But they both agree that in the 11-state in-market it's going to be in the Digital Starter package. So yeah, I wouldn't trust anything at this point unless it's listed in an official Comcast release or on the channel listing on the website.
