I can't read minds. I thought the thread was about 2016...

Obviously I haven't personally, but Alabama has had some solid players from Mississippi. Since Stallings coaches, that recruiting region hasn't been emphasized as much. But DeShea Townsend and Dwayne Rudd stand out from that era. More recently most of out signees from there have been role players or non-contributors. But Kevin Norwood should change that. He was drafted by Seattle. Anthony Steen is doing well in the Cardinals camp.

It's fairly easy to recruit against Bama when it comes to MS kids. Y'all haven't done anything with the 4 MS kids from this decade. Unfortunately, this is a MSU territory heavy class, so hopefully MSU can do it's job and keep those kids in-state.
As for Benito, he will be a Rebel if we do what we are capable of this year. Our 2016 class will make our 2013 class look like a C-USA class.

And what exactly is it that y'all are capable of accomplishing? 8-4 with a possible Egg Bowl victory? An actual ten win season? What is it that these kids are "winning for their state"?

Kids from Mississippi like to play for their home state.
DWI.

Which is fine. Alabama is not for everybody. I'm just genuinely curious what they are winning for their state, and what Ole Miss will accomplish this year that will cause Benito Jones to flip.

He'll be receiving a care package to change his mind

Now you're talking. Although with Bo Davis back on staff we won't go down without a counter offe... eh, fight.

Oh, give me a fricking break. You sound so pathetic right here. Let me ask you? Why can't Ole Miss win it all this season? We are the most proven team in the SEC outside of Auburn.

I'm from there and I still don't quite understand what the Mississippi schools are doing that the Louisiana/Georgia/Florida schools aren't.

You could respond with a real fricking answer, but go ahead, keep laughing. Who in the SEC is even close to an automatic win against Ole Miss? Let me guess...Bama and their shitty D are

Alright. Didn't realize you were being serious. First reason why is your depth on the o-line. Tunsil is an absolute beast, but he can't do it alone. You are one injury away from the season being a total disaster. Your starting right tackle from the spring is sitting on Auburn's bench.
Second reason is that I don't trust your quarterback in pressure situations (see Alabama 2013, Miss St. 2013). He seems to fold (with the exception of LSU 2013).

You can't be serious. Are you talking about the defense that allowed your vaunted offense a grand total of zero points during their last matchup?

Every time "it's our year" happens, Ole Miss fails to deliver. Until that stops, why should people believe otherwise?

The same defense that has completely shutdown Ole Miss the last two years? The one that has lead the SEC in nearly every defensive category for 6 seasons in a row?

Yes.

Si, that's why we have four other guys standing to his right.

This seams to be your main and only reason. Please find a team that isn't an injury away from potentially hurting the whole season. The only way it would happen for us is if Tunsil went down for the season. We lost our guy last year(CJ Johnson) and it showed BADLY, but lol @ "total disaster."

Key word: spring. Fahn Cooper was going to start at RT anyways. Austin probably would have been moved inside and given Rod Taylor more time to develop.

Dude, you guys were spying on our plays. Y'all literally knew every play we called. There is not a single QB in college football that could have executed that game. Freeze should have known Saban would be a snake and hire a guy just to stop our offense.

Yup, I am...and that whole defense looks great in professional jerseys. I was clearly joking when I said shitty, but they are unproven and, to be honest, our offense is not the offense you want unproven defenders going against.
Not trying to start something. Just want you to know you're being silly if you think Ole Miss has 0% chance to win the SEC.

Roll Tide. And frick anybody who dosent like the Meridian area.
Benito plays for Wayne Co. there mascot is the War Eagles. Their uniforms look exactly like Auburns. There main competition in 5A south is the Picayune Maroon Tide, their uniforms look exactly like Bama's except maroon. The last few years Picayune has been tearing everybody's arse up. Needless to say Benito is tired of getting beat by the Tide lol
