I think USC is on a downhill slide. The recent loss of Shaw and Clowney...no more Lattimore...and being a year further removed from Ellis Johnson.....will continue to have a cumulative effect on their performance in the SEC.

I haven't drank our Kool Aid...but I sure as hell haven't had theirs either.

I think we take them this year if we can pressure their QB. Even if he plays lights out, maybe this will be the year that Bobo discovers the value of a running game in controlling the clock. If so, I still like our chances.

You mean they are gonna revert back to their Kentucky like days? I don't think that's gonna happen. I think they are more on track to be the next Auburn like team. JMO, it's the feeling ya get when you walk the streets of Columbia or go to a game there.

Certainly not concerned about Dylan Thompson. If Connor Shaw is asked to play with a broken shoulder blade chances are Dylan is not well thought of.

I agree with the fact that their best days are behind them

Might not be the doormat, but no more 11 win seasons

I would hope that he would have discovered that after the last game against USCe where we ate up 8 minutes on the last drive.

Dylan Thompson has plenty of real game time and played well behind Shaw. Mike Davis is a fantastic back - I think he's better than Lattimore was. Their offense may not be what it was last year without Shaw and Ace Sanders but it'll be plenty good.

I think you're right about their defense taking a step back though.
