Don't really have a problem with Ole Miss or State fans. In fact, most people I've known or met from either school have been really cool. Both fanbases do have some kind of weird complex when it comes to Alabama (the state). I see fans of both schools constantly complaining about things in Alabama or making fun of Alabama when I frankly don't understand why you guys even care enough about a state you don't live in to get so offended. The comment about bringing up racism in the state of Alabama is a perfect example. It's as if the OP thinks all racial problems have been solved in Mississippi and brings Alabama into the conversation about Ole Miss for some weird reason. I guess it annoys Mississippians that even with all of Alabama's problems (and there are plenty) it STILL ranks ahead of Mississippi in practically every quality of life measure. I guess it would suck to always be ranked last and never have another state to look down upon.

P.S. Speaking of racism, I saw a recent statistic where Alabama and Mississippi were ranked #1 and #2 respectively for the LEAST number of hate crimes.
