Because why take $30 a month or whatever from the 10% of the population that is college football fans when you can take $1+ from everyone who has cable?

You do realize with that math, ESPN comes in less without the streaming service?

Probably more likely a realistic streaming service price is $10, on par with Netflix and Amazon.

Why not get both? The providers would miss out on the advertising money too.
