Yeah I know I was being facetious. IMO, acceptance rankings are over used & aren't always necessarily a good representation of the overall quality of a university. Plus, universities can also easily manipulate their rates.

For example:

tOSU's & UIUC acceptance rates are below (both are considered two top 15 public U.S. universities ).

& you compare Ole Miss at 61.1%

Much harder to get into Ohio state than bama, who has a lower acceptance rate.

He didn't say UGA was better in overall quality though. He said it's easier to get into.

UGA IS higher than UA in the USNWR college rankings. But when he says it's "much harder" to get into than Bama, and includes UGA in the same sentence as Texas and Florida, it's just not accurate.
