It won't do very much. It will affect the movement of pitches more than it will help with HRs. These current bats are terrible and don't reward hitting one on the screws. MLB players that have taken BP with both say they would rather the wood 100% over the BBCOR. Ryan Theriot talked about it a few weeks ago on a local radio show.
