Sleep with the dog, get the fleas. So I'm gonna vote absolutely not on this one. Seems like a recipe for disaster for Gamecock fans IMHO. We've paid our dues, we get along with most everyone, we're good fans.
I cannot imagine us agreeing to hold hands with you mizzourites under any circumstances short of an end of the world scenario ... and even then, probably not.

Worth a try. I have the ability to see prophetic visions of the future, and I can tell you that a Mizzou/SC focused attack on the rant would have went swimmingly well!

USC/Mizzou war is good for the SEC, and Mizzou especially.
The war on the rant is inconsequential. Mizzou and USC run the east based on USC's consistent performance and Mizzou's divisional championship. It's a temporary arrangement, but it can work well without an alliance.
USC and Mizzou should dislike each other, there should be no alliance. To suggest anything other than total dislike would mean that one of the two would have to be weak, and we should never wish for that. Nobody hates Vanderbilt.
We are two teams that have come from shite and are doing big things now, we should dislike each other because of that, even more than we hate the traditional powers. USC and Mizzou are pretty much the same, and we should constantly fight for respect.
This rant thing is fake, but the two programs are really pretty closely related. That common suffering should not only be a reason to realize we're alike, but also realize why the other should die. There's only so much success to go around, and for two programs that have to fight for all the success they can get, there's really no room for USC and Mizzou to coexist as the world exists now.

I think we'd be more inclined to agree to this if you could admit that a white flag actually means you are surrendering to us and thus declaring us the victors of the Columbia War of 2014.
