Because.... Texas doesn't know what BBQ is?
They think chopped up cow smothered in mesquite sauce is BBQ.
Now... If you want to eat some fine BBQ, I have a couple recommendations of my favorite places.
1. Little Pigs BBQ
2. Maurice's piggie park
3. Sweatman's... but you have to drive about 35-45 south of Columbia for that, but there hash and rice will make you slap your grandma.
