2008-2013. . Have you been paying attention? We've been in the mix that whole time.

What's changed?

The huge, gigantic question is at QB. I'm a wait-and-see kind of guy. I find it hard to get all jumped up excited about a guy who couldn't win the starting job at another school.

I think if he's average (and SMART with the ball) we'll be a formidable opponent and have a very good win-loss record. If he's above average the rest of y'all are FRICKED. If he doesn't pan out, it'll be a melt of historic proportions from the Bama faithful.

Roll Damn Tide.

The rest? I dunno--seems to me to be a Bama Stacked/SEC Fricked kind of situation.

Having said that, I'd objectively put AU as the favorite. They wrecked shite last year--I expect them to be better, have experience at QB, a year more of experience on the Gus Bus, etc. . .

This is precisely what I'm basing my opinion on. There has been a steady regression from 2011 to 2012 to 2013...and this 2014 team has more question marks than any in the Saban era (besides 2007) that I can recall. The program is certainly not on any kind of upward trend.

Your D doesn't strike fear into people like it used to. Your OL is no longer imposing and proven. Kiffin is your OC.

I could easily be wrong, this is merely my opinion...but it seems like Bama fans are in for a rude awakening in 2014.
