You left out the part about fan experience. I wonder why?

Wait, LSU fans are proud of giving opposing fans premium seating in their own stadium?

And I thought some in my fanbase weren't SEC ready. In our new half a billion dollar stadium we are putting y'alls asses in the shittiest seats possible.

Those are our shittiest seats. Which tells you how good the rest of ours are. Even when Kyle Field is finished in 2015, it will have less suites, less premium seating of all types overall, and less chair back seats of all types.

Of course, that won't make a difference to the 12th Man...

I totally agree, if the bathrooms and concessions are gonna be that close then that is a huge plus for Tiger Stadium. Again, I'm not trying to down y'all at all. I just think many times these money grab expansions( executive seating, suites) comes at a cost, sometimes hurting a stadiums charm. If the improves the experience for the majority of the fans then I'm all for it.

No they aren't, they aren't even the worst sightlines let alone the worst overall seats all amenities included.

First rule of bad sightlines: The first deck corner facing either west or north depending on stadium orientation are the worst seats.

Yes, they are. What else would you call nosebleed seats in an endzone? The other upper deck seats in the east and west sides are at least on the sidelines.

Fans up there might have to walk a little farther to restrooms and concessions, but they have much better sight lines.

First deck corners are the shittiest seats in any stadium. You don't have the depth perception to see the action going on at the opposite end of the field and the ability to see action on the opposite side of the field in your own endzone is minimal. The higher price for those seats as opposed to those higher up is solely due to the consumer idea that being closer to the field is better.

Basically, anyone paying for their lower bowl corner seats in any stadium has been hooked by poor logic. Someone has to buy them I suppose, though. Claiming those seats are the worst in Tiger Stadium is just factually incorrect though. The idea upper deck sideline or centered endzone seats are bad, at least compared to corner and endzone first deck seats, isn't rooted in any semblance of logic. This is why almost every program in the country puts opposing fans in the lower corners as first priority. Not LSU though, you guys are gonna give excellent seats on the cheap to opposing fans. You spent millions expanding for the luxury of fans rooting against you. Sheer brilliance.

Ours are aren't that bad IMHO...

I'm with you to a point, but you'll find that LSU's Tiger Stadium has lower ticket prices than most of the stadiums around the SEC. And like Kyle Field, we'll also offer a good bit of SRO tickets. They'll be up there above the new visitor seats...

See that platform jutting out in front of the concession stand? That's for SRO.

Edit: You can see both of the platforms in this rendering:

Fans will be able to stand back of those as well.

In the upper deck? You haven't been to many football games, have you?

Upper deck endzone seats aren't bad at all, assuming you aren't on the deadass last row that cant see the back of the endzone at many stadiums.

I've been to close to a hundred football games in my short life, have sat in just about every imaginable sightline and have never been more unpleased with seats than those in the first deck corners.

The best seats in most stadiums, IMO, are upper first deck/lower second deck seats between the 30s. Anything too low and visibility in one endzone or the other is poor.

Ok. Well I think in most people's opinion, the upper deck is the worst place to sit. Hence the reason why they are cheaper. But we can agree to disagree.

I'd much rather sit in LSU's new seats than anywhere in the lower deck endzones. The great access to amenities is a bonus.

What I like about Tiger Stadium is the seating goes up more than it goes out. The lower bowl isn't too steep, however. The upper decks are a lot steeper, but not as steep as the Superdome upper decks...

...now that's steep seating.

First few rows upper deck, in many stadiums, are very good. The last few, that's a different story. The first few rows in Neylands upper are great, but Neyland kinda goes straight up, so that's not the case in every stadium

The Steepest seating I've ever sat in is the upper deck at Cowboys Stadium. Nobody over the age of 50 should be allowed up there given the hazard to those stairs.

Kyle Field is similar in that the sideline decks go straight up. It's actually a pretty awful design IMO.

I'm glad you're glad, since you don't have much of a choice anyways.

The SEC-mandated lower bowl seats are mainly for the visiting team's bands and the families of players. LSU USED to offer far more lower bowl seats to visiting fans than any other SEC stadium. That ends this year, and LSU fans will now enjoy sitting in those lower bowl seats you despise so much.

I've been to both Neyland and TS. I thoroughly enjoyed them both, but the way LSU is set up really lets a fan capture every moment. I always like that the away seating at TS is pointed directly toward the student section. I've never been more intimidated by a Stadium and I wasn't even attending a State/LSU game. That being said, Rocky Top and the running of the T are just as good as LSU's pregame ritual.
