That's great news and well deserved but what's this have to do with Herschel Walker?

Walker was great and by the eye test, he and Bo are right there as the best players to ever play in the SEC, but his statistics are nothing to bat an eye at compared to other running backs in SEC history.

No one will ever touch DT's sack stats.

Thomas was the best pass rusher I have ever seen.
I saw him single handedly destroy Penn State in Birmingham they could not block him. He was relentless and his game definitely translated to the NFL.

Morals aside, Billy Cannon won the Heisman, was an All American, and played both ways practically full time for 3 yrs.
