Which position is our weakest link?

Linebackers, Safety, or CB?

I've been looking for a weakness and it was hard to tell in the spring game. I'm guessing its got to be the linebacker position. They may be better at run stopping but - not sure we will cover the crossing or flat routes any better. Frost / Cassanova? Who else?

Depends on what you mean by weakest link?

Depth- DE
Our talent as starters is elite with guys like Owens and Lawson as ends but depth is a concern. We barely have enough people to go through spring properly at DE. Our additions are unknown and guys like Elijah Daniel and Devonte Lambert potentially are better fits at DT

Talent Ceiling- CB or Safety (not including star)
At the moment we don't have any guys that strike me as elite corners. They may develop but it appears they are "solid" but nothing to brag to your friends about. Safety is on the list mostly because guys like Whitehead are starting.

Uncertainty- LB, Safety maybe DT

Frost and McKinzy either are legit as fugg or out of place. They should be elite but it seems like it is impossible to predict. Safety has a lot of new faces and movement in guys like Holsey and Moncrief to safety. None of our DTs were consistent and elite last year. I wouldn't feel confident thinking they will be stalwarts against the run or even pass

Wear your sunglasses bitches as I went full posibarner in this post.

I am amused by the majority of rant posters when they do preseason predictions, and the lack of respect they give our team. I think our offense goes turbo mode with the addition of a much improved passing game (my prediction and i am sure others may agree with me).

I also think our defense takes a big leap forward and will be a much improved scoring defense. Not Tuberville levels, but much improved from last season.

I am most concerned about our ST's as that was a big plus for us last year on field position. However, I don't think it is horrible and hopefully won't cost a game like the Bama FG kicker.

I believe our team will have a swagger that they build upon game by game. My hope is that we win games by 3 TD's or more on the reg, but how cool would it be on here to win all 15 with a lucky/miracle play?

I enjoy the other fans saying what they are. It will make this year that much more fun.

Whitehead is one of the least of the guys I worry about. How about the open spot beside him or having to replace Davis with Jones or an unknown at corner? Heck even Mincy continually got picked on last year.

Aren't we still paying him? Tell him to knock the dust off his smock, shine his gums and get to practice.

Just don't think he has the ball hawking skills / mentality. We get beat over the top a lot he's always a few steps late to knock the ball down. He's pretty good in run support. I'm ready to get a rangy athlete back there like a honey badger type that's always breaking shite up
