The night games for ABC & Espn are already set. w/Oklahoma st & Florida st on ABC at 8 & Wisconsin & LSU on Espn at 9, I'm thinking "if" UGA's opener is a night game, then it will have to b on espn2. Which means no gameday for this game as well. As long as its at night, I will b happy!

May be a 4:30 kick on ESPN in that case.

Not necessarily. I've heard that SECN is having an 8pm game as well, plus ESPN has a history on opening weekend of funky time slots like 4:30 or 5:30.
I just don't see a game of this magnitude falling to the deuce.

I'd take it to get UGA at the night slot but we all know it'll be the 4:30/5 start. Maybe SECN but idk. Schools may fight that cause of the exclusivity of the providers. Unless AT&T buys DTV and saves us.

Even if it goes through, it will be processed by the FCC for months.

And my guess is that the SECN would renegotiate the deal with AT&T and that we still wouldn't get it for 2014. I really hope DTV gets this shite done soon somehow but I'm low on hope.

I think SECN has already locked in MSU/Troy for the night slot (8 PM)

Good. So far UGA fans are only hosed for the noon game vs Troy
