Lack of leadership hurt him, saying he was a first round pick was not very bright, skipping the senior bowl, etc. This will work to his benefit as he can carry a clip board for a few years, then he can join his wife on the SEC network.

He got some bad advise IMO. He was told to carry himself as if he was the number 1 qb when he clearly wasn't. Skipping the senior bowl killed his stock.

I actually think he'll start in a couple years actually. So many people underestimate him because of the talent he played with, but I think he'll have a better career than people that have been drafted higher because his playing efficiency and ability to not crack under pressure will be more valuable than overall talent (which I think he has enough of anyways)
