How did the greatest recruiting head coach of the past 30 years and perhaps ever. not recruit a qb that can just manage a team that is loaded at every other position?

I heard he already ran through half of the KD pledge class

Why does Auburn have to rely on JUCO QBs every year?

You realize that the QB that Saban recruited that just left, finished second in the Heisman ballot?

I fear some Bama fans are turning Coker into what LSU fans did to the "Mettsiah" ....just saying...maybe need to pull the reins back just a bit on annointing this guy just yet

I don't think any AU fan has room to talk JMO

Yup Coker is on AP's level so he will be fine

True it just shocks me how Coker is supposed to be so much better than who is on your campus. I try my best to keep up with sec recruiting and I thought Bama was getting the qb prospects they wanted. Is the hype around Coker because he is better than what you have on campus? or do you think he is as good or better than Aj?

It was surgery to repair a torn meniscus, my dad who is 52 had the same surgery in December and was up walking on his own in a few days. I'm sure a athlete in his early twenties will be fine as far as his knee goes. Whether or not he can play remains to be seen.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad your dad is doing fine. I'm sure Jacob Coker will be the best transfer QB since ever.

In my non biased opinion, the hype came out cause some FSU assistant (whoever it was, don't care) came out and said Coker had a better arm than Winston and bama nation lost its collective mind. It's also in part because we've known for a while now that Sims is average, at best. Appears to practice well but sucks in game situations.
However, I think if we can develop that O line better I could start as Bama's QB and win 10 damn games. I can throw ducks and incomplete passes like a fricking boss but all I gotta do is get the handoffs right and we should be ok.
So it's a bit of both worlds. Bama nation is putting all its hopes on a kid that's an unknown and everyone else is saying the kid sucks. Time will tell...

A LSU fan making fun of criminal quarterbacks? Seriously? Your last two quarterbacks have been Mettenberger and Jordan Jefferson. What do you call them?
