In 2012, LSU struggled mightily versus a spirited, yet bad Auburn team. Auburn will actually have a head coach, formidable offense, and more than a defensive line this season. LSU once again will be fielding an unproven offense. I know that you've got Cameron, but he can't do it all alone.

They had all that last season and we faired pretty well. I like our chances.

That's the big difference. LSU's defense should be improved, and Auburn's offense will look different and could be better. Auburn's defense has gotten a few upgrades as well. My main point is that the good Auburn teams have managed to beat the good LSU teams in Jordan Hare (2004, 2006, 2010). A bad team managed to compete with a decent LSU team in 2012.
