Well, everyone does like to follow a winner and one that's won a NC in every decade. Basically, Bama is the friggin' Yankees of CFB. You either love us or hate us... there is no in between.

That's not true. I don't hate the team like I hate the entire Yankees organization. I hate the stupidity of your fan base there's a distinct difference.
