Auburn is really low in that list. I know some don't want to admit it, but Alabama is a relatively small state, and Alabama dominates the non-college crowd in the state. Auburn picks up a handful of sidewalk folks from GA, but not very much.

The chances of you being an Auburn fan without close ties to the school are next to zero outside of Alabama, and pretty low in state, especially when compared to other schools.

Well, everyone does like to follow a winner and one that's won a NC in every decade. Basically, Bama is the friggin' Yankees of CFB. You either love us or hate us... there is no in between.

The vast majority of Alabamians who are Auburn fans did not go to school there.
