I was just being sarcastic back to your sarcastic comment.

But I definitely think it looks bad to leave the conference and then blatantly say you don't care about the rivalry. It looks worse since they've dominated the series.

I'd still want to play the game due to the fact that you now have an advantage. Texas not wanting to play it makes perfect sense in my eyes. They're way ahead in the series, and they weren't the ones who left the conference.

they told us to shove it when we offered to continue playing. how the hell are we supposed to react to that?

that domination also looks worse when it was done on a glorified division two school and that we have the winning record when all things are equal
