I have been reading several blogs about the Dawgs Oline recruiting, and the MELT has begun. In the last couple of weeks 4 of the top Georgia Olinemen commit outside the state. I don't see any reason for concern because the next 3 years we will have Kendall Baker, Devondre Seymour, Dyshon Sims, Isaiah Wynn, and Jake Edwards on the roster. The 2015 recruiting cycle is still very young and anything may happen. I'm not liking that Odoga fled the borders but as for the other 3.....I wish them the best except when the play the good guys. Between last year's Oline recruiting and this year's potential the Coaches will continue its high productive Offense. There are other recruiting storylines that may be worth discussing later but because of the last week of recruiting I just got sick of people talk down on the coaches. Because of the talent we have now the Offense will be lights out for at least 3 more years. Just can't repeat last year's bad luck with injuries.

For those who thought Kendall Baker would be playing on the Dline, this was a headline on a recruiting site...."To prepare for a switch to O-Line, #UGA signee Kendall Baker has been working with a former OT star in the NFL." And he is a BIG boy

???Thoughts???

The meltdown is about 50% legitimate concern about the current OL (more of a development issue imo) and 50% hysterical tendencies among many of our fans.

We basically recruit OL as well as any of our peers outside of Alabama. Ideally we would recruit OL better, but OL recruiting is basically a crapshoot after the top 2-3 elite guys. The guys we're signing were recruited by all of our peers.

Of the 120 FBS programs, 110-115 of them would have traded their 2014 OL class for ours.

In 2015 recruiting, only Edoga really hurts so far. Kim and Sharp are good prospects, but by no means are they sure things relative to other prospects still out there. Hyatt was never going anywhere but Clemson.
