Everyone always says I'm overly negative when it comes to predicting records and depth charts... But if Robert Conyers starts the year at RT we will finish behind Arkansas in the SECw standings.
Our coaches literally spent all of Xmas Holidays talking him out of transferring ... He's just never been happy in Oxford... I don't get the whole redneck thing... Take your truck out to Sardis and Holly Springs National Forest to hunt and fish when you get time off... Oxford is a small town and there are tons of country boys there... He just hated it.

There is no way to downplay this loss. Its huge. Now we have to count on Cooper and Taylor to be ready, Hope that C. Morris is healthy and gets the waiver. We have bodies, I just dont think they are ready. Bouldin will be ok. Not sure D. Johnson is ready for serious minutes, not sure what Conyers gives. We are ok if there are no real injuries happen on the OL. The chance of that happening is slim.

ETA: I assumed he was from Florida because of FSU. He got homesick for small town Alabama while living in small town Mississippi? And he's giving up a starting spot on an SEC team for that? That makes no sense.

Pretty sure Auburn lost a ton on their OL. Wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't take long to start for them.

I say we close the door to Auburn and Bama for Golson. If it's really about family he'll appreciate the chance to play for Troy or South Alabama. This is where the whole nice guy shtick Freeze portrays really pisses me off.
