Every team has dirty players, but Fairley took it a step further especially in that particular UGA game. I blame the refs mostly though for allowing it. He should have been ejected after that shot to Murray's back.

Fairley was a pretty dirty player with many questionable hits.
I understand football is a contact sport, but I hope even Auburn fans can acknowledge that Fairley took it to another level.

If only Murray had an OLine to protect him in that game...
Unfortunately the only way they could stop him was to take cheap shots at the end of the game

Auburn has always been known to have questionable character guys on their team, ie Fairley, Cam, etc.
It is amazing how far the SEC went to protect auburn that year. After the game the UGA AD was incredulous that nothing was going to happen to Fairley.

Fairley was dirty.
He was also unstoppable all year. So, we cut him some slack.

He definitely took it to another level. That's what made him elite

Yeah the SEC wanted to protect Fairley because he was on Auburn right!?

I'm still waiting for him to post the Fairley hit on McElroy but for some reason he just ignores it

Melt day, 1252......
And while Georgia still could have gotten back into it when trailing by 11 points, their fate was sealed on the fourth-quarter series where on a third-and-four play Mike Bobo inexplicably again had Murray standing back there looking for the long ball in the face of an Auburn blitz instead of going with a quick slant, resulting in a sack. On fourth-and-13, Murray was hit again as he threw and the ball was incomplete. And that was pretty much that.

That running back in The Last Boyscout used a gun to kill the defense and score. But he was unstoppable so cut him some slack.

Another one of these opposing fan bitch(pussy) fest about Fairley and how awesome he was. 2010 Natty fo life bitches. You poons should be proud the SEC produced a ferocious beast at DT that wrecked some havoc.

The officials never had control of the game. If I remember correctly it wasnt a very experienced crew. It was the Deep Souths Oldest Rivalry. That game deserves the most experienced crew year in and year out. Did Fairly cheap shot AM11? Hell yeah. Would our DL have cheap shoted Cam if given the opportunity? Probably. Would another crew have tossed Fairly? Probably.
Im done bitching about Fairly. One thing I think every fan base can agree on is AM11 was a tough SOB.
Good day

That's Auburns long running slogan.
"The end justifies the means."
"Win, no matter the costs."
