Where the hell did you people see all these snakes at? I lived next to the woods and played in the woods, but rarely saw a snake.

We always saw snakes in the woods here in Missourah. Specially float trips.
And on golf courses. My brother in law likes to pick up snakes along the course and throw them between your legs as you address the ball.

woods and ditch behind my house. You must not have been aware 
We use to go out hunting for snakes in the ditch. I smashed one out of mid air because a body threw it up from the ditch and it was heading towards my face
I have also had moccasins try to get into the boat while out crawfishing with friends

We always see some early in the season at the lake. One of my friends is OCD about not anchoring near the shore, so we always have to be in the middle of a cove.

Unless there wasnt a creek or any kind of water nearby thats why you didnt see them.
