It was a progression. They wanted it to be quietly dropped. When it wasn't and more information came out....they had to do something.

You guys need to take a step away from the kool-aid wagon for just a bit. How would you be looking at this situation if it were going on at any other school. I have already admitted and condemned my own schools failings. But you can't?

Ummm. What? I think the school did the right thing in kicking him out. Is that what makes me a kool aid drinker? They did it within a week of the incident. Too slow? What exactly was the major failing of the university here?
