Since the weather is starting to get warmer looking to go on a camping trip soon.
Good fishing, bike & walking trails, good scenery for lots of selfies..Not looking to go very far...the area shaded in green is what I want.
Any suggestions?

I would suggest Tallapoosa, GA since it appears to sit on 3 areas.

Townsend in Tennessee is great for camping.

Walls of Jericho in Jackson County,Alabama. It's a little more than 1 hour from where you live. One of my favorite places.

Bankhead forest in Lawrence County is also about 1 hour from you and has some beautiful scenery. It has the only Naturally growing White
Pines in the state. That might not sound like a big deal, but they are a lot different from the Loblolly, and Virginia Pine that we usually see.
A little further away from you is Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon, in Dekalb county, extremely beautiful place, with plenty of hiking, rafting, rappelling, swimming opportunities, there is also unique cave just below the falls, that is rumored to be a Viking Cave, and Roman coins were even found on the site.
Oh yeah, Bear Grillys even filmed an episode of his show at Little River Canyon.
For more of a fishing/Camping thing, Buffalo River In Tennessee is hard to beat, I have never seen another place with Smallmouth Bass like that place, also lots of deer and turkey.

Stephen C. Foster State Park in the Okefenokee Swamp.

I think that would be mostly considered to be The Cumberland Plateau. Just guessing though, because that would mean that The Cumberland Plateau includes more area than I thought.
Going to modify my answer, that is the area that feeds the Tennessee River, maybe? The Eastern Line would be off quite a bit though.
Maybe the line represents different water flow dividing lines, but some of the area included in green,(on the eastern side) would actually be part of the Coosa and Tallapoosa River system, and end up flowing to the Gulf Of Mexico.

Little river canyon is the best in Alabama.

I would stick to GA or AL if I was you. Tennessee's nature scene sucks and it's already too crowded. You don't want to be crowded do you?

If you're backpacking, Fiery Gizzard trail or Savage Gulf near Monteagle mountain in Tenn. If car camping Falls Creek Falls. There are lots of places in the area to camp that have very nice scenery. I camp/backpack at least once a month. These places are my go to places.

Pretty much agree, but Walls Of Jericho is a very close 2nd place for me.
Have you ever been to Madoc's Cave at Little River? It's pretty damn interesting.

I would bet that there are some really great places over near Rising Fawn, Georgia. It's a beautiful area, on The Eastern Slope of Lookout Mountain, I drive through there a lot, just never have camped or hiked over there.

Little River Canyon is great. Weiss Lake is a short drive from there and hosts some of the best crappie fishing in the country.
I'd also recommend Elkmont Campground near Townsend, TN. It's also less than 15 mins away from Gatlinburg. Cades Cove and multiple trails all around.
