So they can get paid off???? Hell no. But there should be a mandatory minimum IQ for jurors.

Oh yeah Berl. I don't know if y'all are old enough to remember Laird's down Bennett Bridge about a mile west of 25. My dad used to bring me there on the way home once a week for a Big Red. He liked to stop a Reed's for boiled peanuts and a road home beer. Life was a tad different in the early 80's.

Yep. Bernice and Cathy. Used to ride my 4 wheeler there to fill up. Grew up just a couple of miles away.
re: Anyone a motor oil geek?

I have a 2021 tundra. It's the las t year of the 5.7 V8. It has around 95,000 miles and the last oil change I switched to Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W 30 and a purolator filter. My gas mileage has not changed whatsoever according to the computer, but the truck is noticeably quieter and idles much smoother. I don't know if I'm going to switch to Mobil 1 next oil change or stick with the Pennzoil. All I know is I'm not going back to 0W 20.
I would like to know why in the hell toyota has the damn drain plug draining off to the side of the truck and not towards the back/strait down. It makes a massive mess every damn time.

Get an old British car. If you're somewhat mechanical, they are way more fun to drive than a newer Jap car
re: Do you keep a second or third vehicle? How much are you paying for INS?
Posted by Bonnie Blue on 5/23/26 at 11:26 pm to lsu xman
If we're counting motorcycles, we have 8 vehicles we're paying insurance on here in Tennessee. Alll of those combined are about the same as just my wife and I in Louisiana.

re: Garage door insulation
Posted by Bonnie Blue on 4/22/26 at 4:12 pm to tigahbruh
I did the same exact thing with the foam insulation boards, but I had some radiant barrier left over from a project in the attic and put it directly against the doors, then the foam boards. I don't know if the radiant barrier helped any, but the door project certainly helped with the heat
re: Leaking water around base of toilet
Posted by Bonnie Blue on 4/2/26 at 4:18 am to danny d lsu
Make sure it's not water leaking from the tank. A couple of years ago I had everything prepared to change my wax seal, but luckily discovered a rubber washer/gasket was rotted on the inside of the tank so one trip to HD and maybe 2.00 later it was fixed. It's really difficult to see clear water running down the back of the toilet.

re: Tire repair kit
Posted by Bonnie Blue on 2/24/26 at 6:07 pm to Ricardo
Maybe it's different by you but I plugged a tire about a year ago, went to Discount Tire and they said they don't patch previously plugged tires due to the reamer and the steel belts or some crap like that. I called Walmart and two other shops to check and none would patch a plugged tire. Maybe it's some nonsense law up here in Tennessee. I don't know. Even a redneck arse tire shop in middle of nowhere Double Springs, Alabama wouldn't patch a plugged trailer tire.
re: Tire repair kit
Posted by Bonnie Blue on 2/24/26 at 5:15 pm to Clames
The problem with plug kits is now most tire shops won't patch a tire if a damn plug has been used. Although I have had several tires go well into the tens of thousands of miles with a plug, I just ordered some of the screws to see how they work. I'm thinking that maybe even my wife could make one of those work. This damn website has cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars of shite I see y'all talk about on here.
re: Need a riding mower that can handle tall grass and doesn't get stuck in armadillo holes

I was kind of in the same boat as you a few years ago. I put a brush cutter blade on my weed eater and although it was time consuming, I initially cut everything with that, then I was able to use my mower.
