There's no data to support what you're saying just like there's no data to support what I'm saying. It's pure speculation

There's more talent in TX so having more competition doesn't equate to recruiting losses. Plus Alabama, Auburn and Florida have been raiding Georgia for years. So that rebuts your entire argument.

What the?

recruiting against 4 in state FBS schools vs 11 IS data.

uhh no. it doesnt at all. Alabama, Florida, and Auburn are not making Georgia their main recruiting grounds and thus are NOT equal to dealing with that many more schools in state.

Never mind that OU, Okie Light, LSU, and Arkansas all recruit Texas just as heavily (if not more) as the three you mentioned.

I'm sorry but it is NOT pure speculation to say that recruiting at A&M vs Georgia is tougher b/c of the amount of teams we compete with in state compared to UGA.

Georgia doesn't deal with near the amount of competition for recruits that we do. Sorry but that is a straight fact. It doesn't even matter that we have a bigger population simply b/c of the shear amount of schools that come to Texas vs Georgia.

On top of that, we still have Texas in state to deal with. We may like to puff out our chests and act like the Horns are in the rear view mirror but fact is they are still far more competition for recruits than anyone UGA has to deal with.

Bottom line is arrests like this are BAD for the program and WILL be used against us in recruiting. They are not something you blow off as no big deal. It took Sherman several years to restore confidence in Texas High School coaches that A&M was looking out for their kids best interests. Stuff like this makes it possible to screw that all up.
