We can't risk ruining our bowl streak. Vandy is the state of Tennessee's only hope for post-season football, college or NFL.

Would like to see a comparison of last year's pre-season SOS and how the teams actually ended up.

Nothing like a preseason SOS ranking. Just look how accurate it was last year.

How the hell is this even possible for SEC teams?

You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

I don't see how Bama, who has to play Auburn, top 10 at least, and LSU, can be that low. All SEC west teams should at least be in the top 30. Arky and MSU can't bring down the SOS of the other top West teams, who have to play each other, that much.

Arkansas and Mississippi State can't be helped because they are in the West. LSU and Auburn will more than likely both be Top 10 (maybe even Top 5) teams. Who knows what Florida is going to do this year? They were 11-2 two years ago before tanking last year. Ole Miss will probably be a Top 25 team this year. Texas A&M will take a step back but will probably still be a formidable foe. Tennessee should make a bowl this year unless Butch Jones really sucks. Southern Miss went to shite after we scheduled them, so did West Virginia.

I think it's a decent schedule, all things considered. But apparently no one else agrees.

#5? even with playing LAMAR?

Having South Carolina and Missouri as the east opponents definitely inflates the SOS.
