The main difference in Marshall's decision vs. Brown's is that Marshall has a lot more pro upside than Brown, like you stated. He'll get drafted higher than Brown would have, so it makes the decision a lot different.

I think he'll come back for two reasons. He is very academically oriented, and I get the vibe that the perception of him as Robin to Gurley's Batman kind of irks him a little bit, as would be expected for someone who is extremely talented in their own right. I think he'll want a year as the bell cow, if only to prove a point and write his own legacy.

Couldn't agree more. Depends on what the NFL guys send back to him in the offseason and if he thinks one more year can do for his stock I guess.
