Why in the world is a fake Disney rapper like Drake taking shots at Jay Z? Drake isn't 1/4 the rapper that Jay is. I'm not really sure Drake is a better rapper than I am. I have a friend who is an insurance executive (gets no more white-bread than that) who I KNOW can flow better than Drake. ODB's non-rhyming, nonsensical, profanity-laced ramblings were better rap than Drake's crap. shite pisses me off.

He would be better off if he just accepted it and kept his mouth shut rather than shooting back and encouraging Jay to humiliate him. The kid is a no-talent phony.

I wouldn't have a problem with him if he was a backpack rapper without gangster pretension who rapped about everyday life or politics or extraterrestrials. But the kid tries to act like he's hard, which is just comical. He's a Canadian Jew who grew up on the set of a Disney TV show. It's not that he lacks credibility, it's that he has negative credibility but still tries to front like he's from the street. Drake's whole fake persona is the equivalent of a London banker trying to have a career as a country singer with songs about tractors. I can't believe he's not laughed off of every stage he appears on, but then again, there's a sucker born every minute.

I don't like his music personally, but he created the anthem that defined a generation.

Hell I will call him the greatest rapper of all time if he keeps giving us love.

Jay z isn't any better. You're talking about two of the most phony cookie cutter marketing creations in the music industry. Drake is more talented IMHO. And atleast drake doesn't try to pretend like he slings drugs or kills cops etc when we know he doesn't. Jay z on the other hand will rap about whatever he has to, to stay relevant. After every truly creative and new album in hip hop, jay z comes out with an album that was heavily influenced by that artist. Jay z is a parody echo of the real hip hop community. Drake is cheesy and pop, but somehow is still the most successful and influential artist right now.
