I think Hudson is a better athlete but Little is as skilled as they come in HS. Hudson has a lot of developing to do but he's cut in the Greg Robinson mold. I think he may even be a guard like Ifedi while he develops.
Little is more a Jake Matthews type. You can't really go wrong with either (and both would be insane) but Little is definitely more ready to play on day one. I've heard a few say he may be the #1 overall player in the '16 class.

What are our needs? S, RB, OL, and LB seem obvious. What else?

It's probably too early to say. The '15 class and attrition will factor heavily. Right now we're basically just offering the no-brainers that you take regardless of need.
QB - we'll take 1 unless we have further attrition at the position
RB - depends on '15 class. We will have White, Anderson, Bradford. If we add another (Merritt), we'll probably just take 1 so we can begin spacing them better
WR - Only have 1 JR-to-be (Holmes) so expect it to be really thin. We're a bit short atm but with a target of 3 this year and only MK leaving, we won't be next. Maybe 1-2
OL - always need 3-4
TE - Alexander will be leaving so we'll need another beyond Davis. RSJ could potentially leave too
DE - we're actually a bit heavy here with 8. WIth 2 SRs, look to be taking 0-1 this year so I expect 2 next. Obioha is the only JR
DT - we appear to be targeting 2 per year. Zo Williams is the only JR
LB - we have 0 JRs on the roster. We appear set on taking 3 this year and I think we're going to have attrition here so we'll probably look for maybe 2 in '16
CB - Harris is the only JR but we're reworking the whole situation. Joseph prefers the hybrid S/CB guys. We're taking 3 CBs in this class but DCS is a nickel. My guess is 2 but it may depend on how the '14 guys work out and the '15 class.
S - another ugly situation. Burns is the only JR. But several guys don't fit into Joseph's vision so we probably need another 2 even after taking 3 in '15.

Patrick Hudon's powerlifting numbers. He finished 3rd in state for super heavy weight. The most interesting thing to me is that he weighed in at 329 as a Sophomore in HS. He's probably gonna play at 350+ for us.
I think maybe my Greg Robinson comparison isn't fair as Robinson only weighed 332 at the NFL combine. Hudson is just enormous. If he can learn the technical aspects of the position, the sky's the limit imo

Hudson may take some visits

How's his speed/quickness? I think that the Fran years proved that weight room strength doesn't necessarily translate onto the football field.

did you watch his HUDL posted above? Physical attributes will never be his limitation.

Most of todays update was the sam old stuff but one nugget was that urquidez will probably commit quickly after offered

yeah, sounds like he's all in on us. Little tricky imo since he's moving to MD. I think we'd prefer to wait a while. He's good, but he's not Little or Hudson. But he won't get a chance to visit often in the future so if we want him, now is the time.
