Ready for the season. Time for words to end and deeds to begin. That is the only way for us to stop this crap.

So I just perused ShaggyBevo.
I'm a little confused.
Repeatedly, they say "winning cures all."
"Recruits will play for Strong when he starts winning."
"We just have to get past MB's shitty coaching, then we'll pull in the big gun recruits."
Blah blah blah.

In the next breath, they claim that "A&M hasn't won anything."

How am I to reconcile the two premises that recruits just want to play for winning teams, and A&M doesn't win?

The horns are giving me mixed messages, I tell ya.

Anybody else remember how bad we were feeling when we didn't have a spring game and everybody else was getting commits left and right?

The thing I love is listening to the radio here in Austin. The whole mantra they kept their sanity with was Strong had to sacrifice the '14 Class since he was hired late but would make some progress in '15 and really start kicking arse in '16.

Where is Ketch's post that said this? I remember he posted some long diatribe saying this but in a lot more words. Looks like it's time to move on to 2017

I kind of look at A&M like the Miami Heat with all the super stars and I look at us like the San Antonio Spurs without all the super stars......San Antonio wins because of the system the Pop has.....they play with incredible discipline....every single player plays with the SAME effort, with the same unselfishness.......Pop is able to bring in 2-3 brand new players every year and get them to buy in to the system. I see Charlie Strong building that type of program....a program full of discipline....a program full of great work ethic......a program full of humble kids that will buy in and bring Texas back. Before someone brings it up, yes Duncan, Ginobli, & Parker are considered superstars but Duncan and Ginobli are damn near 40 so at this point in their career, they aren't as dominant as they once were. I think Texas has a lot of really good players now and i think we have really good players in the 2015 class so far.....what I'm saying is you can have "good" players in the right system that are coached the right way...."good" players that are humble that have good attitudes, etc...... And that team will be more successful than the team that has "Great players" that aren't coached well....a team that lacks discipline..... Etc...... I'm just saying guys. Charlie will build something that will last over time...he will get good enough players that we can coach up and make them great players...

"And people think a 6-6 season by **** will change things and Texas winning on the field will do a 180. As long as Sumlin is at A&M, Texas will be in a dogfight for every recruit because Sumlin and his staff can recruit much better Strong and ours. He's recruiting talent that will rival anyone's in the SEC or country and if he's just the coach Mack was, he will win 9 games a year with it which will still keep momentum in the SEC. Texas issues are what Strong inherited from Mack - worst excuse I've heard as other programs have been left off worse and still got top players. They are that Strong and his staff have zero proven recruiters to sway things and it will continue to be this way unless he pulls an 11-1 this year and that's probably not happening. Remember, as bad as the Big East was, he never won the conference outright and his non-conf schedule was awful. Strong lost at least a game a year he shouldn't have with the best talent in the league. These first 2 years are huge for him to prove a lot of folks wrong."

This sip has reached the acceptance stage.

It's tough to watch.
We should take up an AggyArk™ collection and send em a "cheer up" gift basket.
Tea is always a nice touch.
